In around 5% of coffee harvested, instead of the typical twin coffee beans,a coffee cherry produces one round seed, which is called a rare Peaberry - rounded in appearance, as opposed to the flat berry appearance of the traditional coffee bean. Remarkably, this rare & highly valued commodity produces a sweeter and more flavorful cup than typical coffee, due to a more efficient roasting process.
Peaberries are a rare phenomenon, comprising only about 5% of all coffee harvested.
Bold nutty flavors and lingering sweetness. Medium dark roast beans.
